privacy policy

the architecture of silence

0. The architecture of absence

The Square Is does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. This is not a policy imposed by regulation — it is a design choice rooted in the same philosophy that built this app: your inner life belongs to you alone.

1. What we do not collect

No accounts

There is no user registration, no authentication, no email address. You do not exist in our systems.

No analytics

No tracking pixels, no session recording, no behavioural data. We do not watch you use the Square.

No server communication

The app operates entirely on your device. Your reflections, notes, and rituals are never transmitted.

2. Local storage

All reflections and notes are stored locally on your device and encrypted. We provide the vessel; you keep the key. If you uninstall the app, your data disappears with it — we cannot retrieve what we never held.

3. Your identity

Your identity within the app is a local UUID stored only on your device. It is not linked to any name, email address, or external account. It is a number. Nothing more.

4. Complete anonymity

By design, it is impossible for us to identify you. There is no profile, no history on our side, no shadow of you in our infrastructure.

5. Contact
